Recently， Tianjin announced 8 themed routes for agricultural leisure tourism， among which， the rural tourism sites in Xiqing have been listed．

As an important part of the construction of the green ecological barrier in Xiqing district， the Xixihai wetlands have created distinctive landscapes in the green ecological corridor with a total area of 5．18 square kilometers． With the progress of the ecological restoration project， a variety of birds， such as black－winged stilts， egrets， and geese， have settled in the area．

After two years of technical innovation， repeated tests and careful cultivation， a team from the Sinochem Agriculture Tianjin Center has explored a set of effective soil improvement plans， which has turned the saline soil of Wangwenzhuang town， Xiqing district， into a high－quality rice cultivation base． Creative rice field painting has also promoted rural farming tourism culture and attracted numerous tourists．
