My name is Wang Qinghua. I'm 25 years old. From Chengde, Hebei Province. I graduated from Tianjin Polytechnic University, major in composite materials and engineering. Currently, I work in Tianjin ISTAR aerospace technology company.

I'm a technologist and engineer mainly responsible for the process research and development of rocket fairing with diameter of 1.6 meters and 4.2 meters. I'm the youngest member of the team.

I've loved things with a sense of technology since childhood. I learned that when I was in school, there's a material called carbon fiber. When I knew the price of a carbon fiber bike can buy a car, I was surprised. This made me interested in the subject (of materials science) I'm very interested.

Tianjin attaches great importance to the development of new material industry. The environment for scientific research and employment is also very good, so I chose this major in Tianjin Polytechnic University. So far, I have taken root in the carbon fiber composites industry. The products that I participated in the production and research have been successfully launched for many times. I feel very proud. In the future, I will continue to cultivate deeply in this industry.

When the rocket is flying at high speed, there is a large aerodynamic load with the fairing, we can have good protection, We can better protect our satellites and ships. The material used in the fairing is all carbon fiber composite, It's very light. Each layer of the prepreg is also very thin. As we lay the layers, the angle of the layup should be strictly controlled. Only when we can guarantee the angular accuracy of the lay-up, can we ensure the accuracy of the size of our entire cover. There is also a mechanical property of strength.

Our company is a leading enterprise of emerging strategic industries in Tianjin, and Tianjin's first“gazelle enterprises”(Innovative enterprises that have registered for no more than 20 years and enter the high growth stage with the support of scientific and technological innovation or new business model). When I first joined the company, it was in lack of hands. Everyone was busy then wearing several hats. We are crafts people while doing process design work in the office. We often have to go down to the site to do some layering work as well, even some cutting work. Befitting from Tianjin's continuous optimization of the good business environment, now our company has expanded to nearly 500 people. Last year, with the help from the Dongli District CPC Committee and District government. And with the help of Huaming High-tech Zone and Huaming Street Council. We managed to complete the headquarters base construction and land delisting work. The new work environment is"full of technology".

Now I'm surrounded by bigtalents. Masters and PhDs graduating from Tsinghua University, Peking University, Beihang University and Northwestern Polytechnical University. There are also top senior engineers in the industry. I'm currently in the industry. It's like standing on the shoulders of giants and "working while learning".

When I first came to Tianjin, I walked out of Tianjin Station, just saw the liberation bridge open. It feels amazing. Probably from that moment, I fell in love with Tianjin. I have settled in Tianjin now, and preparing to buy a house here. I am very optimistic about the long-term development of Tianjin.
